CODE OF CONDUCT

Our standard

Crypto Football is a community built around real football and real people in Web3. Everyone who joins a match, meetup, Telegram chat, Luma event, or online space we host is expected to treat others with respect.

This Code of Conduct applies to all Crypto Football events (on-pitch and off), digital channels we run, and related community spaces. By participating, you agree to follow it.

Expected behaviour

• Play fair — on the pitch and in conversation.
• Be welcoming to newcomers, players of all skill levels, and people from every background.
• Respect personal boundaries, pronouns, and privacy. Ask before photographing or posting others.
• Keep competition friendly. Celebrate goals; don’t demean opponents or teammates.
• Follow venue rules, local laws, and organiser instructions (including safety briefings).
• Assume good intent online, and give people space if a topic is heated.
• If you cause harm by mistake, own it, apologise, and correct course.

Unacceptable behaviour

• Harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, or threats — in person or online.
• Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, appearance, or any other protected or personal characteristic.
• Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual attention, or sharing sexualised content without consent.
• Violence, threats of violence, or encouragement of self-harm.
• Deliberate dangerous play, retaliation fouls, or physical aggression outside normal sport.
• Doxxing, non-consensual sharing of private information, or recording people in private contexts without consent.
• Spam, scams, phishing, unsolicited token shilling, or pressure to send funds/wallets.
• Impersonation of organisers, partners, or other members.
• Sustained disruption of matches, talks, or community channels after being asked to stop.

On the pitch

Matches are social first. Win if you can — but don’t ruin the night for others.

Respect the referee or organisers’ calls. Argue less; play more.

Look after each other: call injuries early, hydrate, and don’t pressure anyone to play through pain.

Leave venues better than you found them. No litter, no damage, no venue drama that gets the community banned.

Online & Telegram

Keep chats useful and kind. Banter is fine; cruelty is not.

No pump-and-dump pitches, fake giveaways, or “send SOL to this wallet” schemes.

Don’t raid, mass-DM, or drag private conflicts into public channels.

If a moderator asks you to drop a topic or take it elsewhere, do so.

Reporting

If you experience or witness a violation, tell us. You can report privately — you do not need to confront anyone yourself.

Or use the contact form on the site and mark interest as General / Other with “Code of Conduct report” in the message.

Include what happened, when/where, who was involved (if known), and any screenshots or witnesses. We’ll handle reports as confidentially as practical.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Enforcement

Organisers may take any action they reasonably believe protects the community, including:

• A private warning
• Mediation or a temporary cool-off
• Removal from a match, event, or chat
• Temporary or permanent ban from Crypto Football spaces
• Reporting to a venue, platform, or authorities when required

Severity, intent, history, and impact all matter. We are not a court — we are hosts keeping a community safe. Decisions of organisers are final for our events and channels.

Retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith is itself a violation.

Scope & updates

This policy covers Crypto Football-branded activity. Partner venues and platforms may have additional rules.

We may update this page as the community grows. The version on cryptofootball.fun is the current one.
